Uniqueness is my attribute!

Today I am going to share how & why "Uniqueness is my attribute."  I decided to talk about it as I've common yet rare name and so is the title of my blog. (not boasting off,it is a fact indeed....winked)

"My name is in a class by itself,whether people agree with it or not

Lemme start from the story behind my name "ZAINAB-UL-GHAZALY" .  Like many of you, I also got this beautiful name from my father. His literary skills made him choose this one for me. Actually, a famous Egyptian lady with the same name (may have different spellings) was already there. She was human rights activists. She was also the founder of Muslim women's Association. My father was so inspired by her efforts to empower women and I believe that her goodwill convinced my father to select this name for her daughter. (I always feel so good on having such a rare name!)

This is the fact that I may not have the same qualities what she possessed, but that spirit of persistence is one of my traits. However, I define myself like this;

Z         Zestful

A        Active

I            Independent                           

N            Nostalgic

A              Ace

 B           Brave

The people close to me know very well how much these words are true about me!

On the other hand, there are so many funny things I have to face due to my name. In my childhood, I got irritated on weird expressions of people, when they heard my name. It was annoying for me that how couldn't a doctor write my name correctly even in Urdu. By the time, I started enjoying this fun fact. 

I still remember, how my class fellows reacted when I introduced myself. One of my  fellows asked me "Ghazaly is the name of your father?" (giggling) I said, "No, this isn't his name." I had to explain all this to her and finally she got my point. When I was doing masters, my teacher asked me with sheer surprise that "Are you a poet?" (what was that) This time again I made a long speech over it in my class. (Phew)

I feel no hesitation to say that I just love my name and yes it is unique though,there can be many zainabs, but there would be not  any other Zainab ul ghazaly. 

As i told you that uniqueness is my attribute, that's why i gave an unusual name to my blog. (I have a wild side too, few people know about it  [whistle*] ) This wildness give me courage to express what i am. I don't follow others to run on my track, I choose my own way to make a track and walk on it with no fear. 

I've my own identity, my own traits and my own oddity. I always choose decency over the so called "self-confidence." My work makes me confident and that's it.

(Self praise is good at times----hahahahaha)
